Wheelchair Ramps

February 2009

Guild members worked a day and a half to install a wheelchair ramp for Kathy Edwards.
The ramp has a 5 1/2' x 8' deck, and a 4' x 28' ramp. Tom Shearer provided his technical
expertise, and was aided by Buddy Turner, Bill Sweetay, Don Meador, Bill Bagwell, Ron
Critser, O'Brian Trawick, and Bill Brett. Helping out with other phases of the project were
Curt Downing, Danny Goodson, and David Aman.
The project was brought to the Guild by the Disabilities Action Center, in the person of
Andrew Brett, who also worked on the project.

January 2007

Seven Guild members and one friend of the Guild worked 8 hours to install a wheelchair ramp for a 10-year-old boy with Muscular Dystrophy. The ramp has a 5' x 5' landing, and a 4' x 30' ramp.

Click here to see Andy's picture on the ramp, along with a Thank You card from Andy and his mother.
