Charitable Projects
As it says on our home page, one of the
Guild's primary objectives is to
help charitable causes through our woodworking skills. With that in mind,
listed below
are some of the charitable causes that we have worked on.
In addition, there are some projects that have not yet
started, due to other projects being worked on. Read through these descriptions,
and if you see something that you would like to work on, contact our Charitable
Projects Chairman at
char@greenvillewoodworkers.com.
Projects awaiting volunteers:
1. Generations Group Home - a home for abused boys has requested
the Guild's help in building some furniture for their dormitory rooms. This
will be a great opportunity for those who want to move towards the furniture
making side of woodworking. The designs will be relatively simple.
